Loving wife and mother, Dorothy Arlien Merritt, age 88, passed away on the 5th of February 2021. Dorothy was born on October 8th 1932 in Norwalk, CT. A long time resident of Scottsdale AZ., Dorothy loved nothing more than spending time with her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dorothy would spend her free time reading novels, listening to country and gospel music, dancing, and spending time in the great outdoors of Arizona. Dorothy was survived by her brother Frank DeNike, daughters Kim, Kyle and husband Lou, Adair and husband Robert, son Cole and wife Cindy. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wallace Merritt and her grandson Anthony James Marinello. Dorothy will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends.
