Doris Yvette Goff, age 66, of Chicago, died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 18, 2018, in the peace and comfort of her family’s presence.
She was born August 25, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, the third child and youngest daughter born to Harrison and Georgia Goff.
Doris will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, Anton (Pam) Goff of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Goff of Chicago, Rockmon Goff of Baltimore, Maryland; two grandsons, JR Goff and Bryan Goff; one sister, Daisy Mae Hodges of Chicago; two brothers, James Earl Hodges and Ray Goff, both of Chicago; two nieces, Margaret Hodges of Cassopolis, Delores Hodges of Des Moines, Iowa, Charlenetha Senter of Bowling Brook, Illinois; her best friend of many, many years, Gwen Christian of Chicago; and a host of great nieces and great nephews, and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Johnnie Mae Hodges; and one brother, Perry Goff, Jr.
