Those left to honor Doris’ memory include her son, Jim (Darla) Wasson of Armour, SD; her daughter, Jean Wasson of The Villages, FL; three grandchildren–Jim (Summer) Wasson, Rob (Annie) Wasson, Ryan Wasson (and Kalleen Cap); and one great-grandson, Miles Everette Wasson.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd “Todd” and Blanche (Ryan) Young; her husband, James Everette Wasson in 2003; and her brother, Chuck Young.
Doris was a graduate of Newton High School in 1934. She taught country school and was a homemaker.
