Doris Park, age 84, of Salem, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Essex I of Salem. She was born September 28, 1930, daughter of the late John and Ethel (Clay) Crawford. She was a 1949 graduate of Salem High School. She worked at Big Lots in Austintown as a toy lady, and also worked at G.C. Murphy, Murphy Mart and Ames. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Salem. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, camping and taking bus tours. She is survived by her husband, Theodore R. Park whom she married September 8, 1950. They were married for 64 years. Two sons, Randy Park of Salem, Darrin (Pamela) Park of Salem; two daughters, Melody (Tim) Lerminiaux of Otto, New York, Robin (Jeff) Benson of Salem, Ohio; one brother, George Crawford of Salem; five grandchildren, Amanda (Doug) Hedrick, Brandon Benson (Sarah Norman), Ryan Benson, Randy Park Jr., and Meagan Park. Preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Crawford and Arlene Howell.
