Doris M. Valentine, 85, died December 8, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Laura Younis of Chantilly, VA, Richard Valentine Jr. (Celeste) of Santa Fe, NM, John Valentine (Joanna) of Placitas, NM, Mark Valentine of Denver, CO and Dolores Martinez (John Carlo) of Avondale, AZ; grandchildren, Carl Valentine (Lauren), Ryan McGarry (Tom), Erica English (Patrick), Toby Younis, Kristin Martinez, Eric Martinez and Rikki Valentine; great-grandchildren, Marie, Mila, and Manuel McGarry; sister, Barbara Bozak; brother, Raymond Brandwein (Araceli); the Jackson family; and many other family and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Barnie and Mary Brandwein; her husband, Richard; sister, Rosemary Brandwein; and her grandson, Joshua Valentine.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandma. Doris enjoyed volunteer work with Bear Canyon Senior Center, was a faithful member of John XXIII Catholic Community and was no stranger to anyone, having a great love for people of all ages.
A Rosary will be recited Monday, December 12, 2016, 6:30 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas.
