Doris Blevons, age 89, of Trussville, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Doris retired from the Social Security Administration Office after several years of service. She was a member of Trussville United Methodist Church where she once served as the Director of Recreation. She enjoyed working with the churches youth. Doris had a big heart that she devoted to a younger generation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Waldrop & Francis Caldwell Waldrop; three sisters & four brothers. Doris is survived by her loving sons, Michael Blevons (Kris) & Rick Blevons; one granddaughter, Corinna Carver; two great grandsons, & numerous nieces & nephews.
