Doris E. Nun of Omaha, NE formerly Hebron, NE the daughter of John and Mabel (Sorensen) Dominy was born April 1, 1937 in Hardy, NE. She departed this life Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE at the age of 85 years.
Doris grew up in Hardy, NE attending school and graduating from Ruskin with the class of 1955.
She married John F. Nun on April 4, 1956.
She enjoyed her family, traveling to all 50 state capitols, Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Kansas City Royals.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers John Dominy and Richard Dominy and his spouse Wilma.
She is survived by her husband John of Omaha, NE, children David Nun and wife LIsa of LIncoln, NE, Cathryn Poulsen and husband Jack of Roxboro NC, Carolyn Poppe and husband Scott of Omaha, NE and Thomas Nun and wife Melissa of Charlotte, NC. Grand children: Jennifer Blair, Jerad Nun, John Berry, Christopher Berry, Ryan Berry, Stacey Poppe, Emily Poppe, Nathan Poppe, Jacob Nun, Seth Nun and Andrea Nun along with 11 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
