Doris J. Edwards, age 76, of Alabaster, AL, passed away on July 7, 2011. She was a devout Christian and a member of Hillside Baptist Church. She graduated from Carbon Hill High School and retired from South Central Bell. She was a proud Navy wife and was preceded in death by her husband, Chief Petty Officer John Henry Edwards; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole Edwards. She is survived by her sons, John Edwards (Coni), Henry Steven Edwards (Billie Sue), Terry Edwards (Mary); sister, Gaynell Hagood; brother, Willard Randolph; grandchildren, Lee-Michael Edwards, Amber Elaine Edwards, Brian Patrick Edwards, Mollie Edwards, Melanie Edwards, Isaac Wayne Edwards, Terry Edwards, Jr., Abbie Gail Edwards, Alex Edwards, and Valerie Edwards.
