Doris Anderson Davis, 89, of Anderson, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was born February 18, 1923, in Monteagle, TN to the late Morris and Georgianna (Wilson) Anderson.
Doris enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren and traveling. She is survived by children: Meredith Jean (Jerry) Goehring of Anderson; David Grant Davis of Anderson; Patricia (Keith) Copeland of Anderson; Nicki (Jim Haberek) Yost of Anderson; and Vicki (Terry) Warren of Shirley; nine grandchildren: Jonathan (Jenny) Goehring, Adrianne (John) Kabrud, Ryan (Amber) Davis, Michael Davis, Kara (Shannon) Smith, Keli (Brandon) Etchison, Benjamin, Jesse, and Jon David Warren; nine great-grandchildren; and several family members in Michigan and Tennessee. Mrs.
Davis was preceded in death by her husband William Meredith Davis; grandchildren Justin, Joshua and Julie Yost; and several siblings. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Juthani and his staff.
