Doris Cooper Burton, 82, of May’s Lick passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.
Mrs. Burton was born in Bracken County on July 16, 1936 daughter of the late James & Gracie Hughes Cooper.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years Harold C. Burton, a daughter, Darlene (Benny) McNeese, three sons, Jeff (Penny) Burton, Harold Wayne (Shannon) Burton and Danny (Barbara) Burton; seven grandchildren, Todd Miller, Troy Miller, Raejean (Enrique) Lopez, Amanda (Zac) Sutton, Amy (Blake) Burton, Gerry (Sara) Tolbert and Kara (Mike) Anderson; eight great grandchildren, Clayton & Brook Anderson, Kyndall & Kaiser Sutton, Rosella, Lydia & Phoebe Tolbert and Millie Mullenix; a sister Geneva (Dewey) Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Virgil & James Cooper and two sisters Marcy Wyrick & Aldean McDowell.
