Doris B. Buck, 85, of Williamsport, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Rose View Center following an extended illness.
Doris and her husband, William O. Buck, have been together for 60 years.
Doris enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, putting together jigsaw puzzles and especially playing bingo.
Born May 23, 1925 in New Albany, Bradford County, she was the daughter of John and Coral Pittinger Kiper.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Williamsport, are sons, Richard (Anne) Wright of Williamsport, Robert (Janet) Wright of Montoursville, Jeff (Betty) Buck of Cogan Station, William (Joyce) Buck and Jon (Patricia) Buck both of Williamsport; daughters, Sylvia Ann (John) Confer, Sharon Butler, Judith (Larry) Packard all of Williamsport and Coral (Dennis) Smiley in Missouri; brothers, Richard Kiper in Maine and Donald Kiper of Williamsport; sister, Leona Neufer of Williamsport; 27 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Doris was predeceased by brothers, Russell, Frank, Pete and Malcom Kiper and sisters, Grace and Louise Kiper.
