Doris was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1929, daughter of Leo and Alma (Perreault) Boucher. Doris played basketball for SNET during her employment as a telephone operator. She was also employed for many years with Uniroyal, Winchester Electronics and retired from Summit Corporation.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Latimer, and her husband, Chuck; her grandson, Jamison Babcock, and his wife, Ashley; her great grandson, Logan Babcock; her brothers, Leon Boucher; and Emil Boucher; her sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Boucher; and Carol Wiltshire; her sister in law, Dyanne Boucher; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the entire staff at Cook Willow in Plymouth, and Albie, her home health aide, for the exceptional care they gave Doris, and the compassion they showed her family.
