Born on May 6, 1939 in Bottineau, ND to Amelda and Paul LeBlanc, Doreen was a twin and one of nine children.  She graduated from St. John High School in North Dakota.   She met Henry L. Thibert in school while living in North Dakota, and they married on June 27, 1960, remaining together until his death.  Soon after, the couple moved to Montana, where they started their family and set up roots. 

She started her 25-year waitressing career at the Hi Hat, moving on to the Red Lion and changed to the Black Angus, where she was the head waitress.  Doreen loved to fish, was well known for her ability to fillet fish and spent many summers at Holter Lake.  Anybody who knew her would tell you she had the most beautiful smile, and a laugh you would never forget.  She had many hobbies in her life, taking up carving walking sticks in her last few years.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Thibert; sons, Gary and James Thibert; sisters, Marie Anne, twin, Dorothy and Laura Lou; brother, Paul Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and the six Seeley girls.

Those who have preceded her in death include her husband; parents; sisters, Pauline, Grace and Irene; brother, Fremence.
