Dora V. Seamens, 86, of Greensburg, passed away on May 3,  2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Oct 3, 1934 in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Patsy and Josephine Vallano. After graduating from Greensburg High School, she started her career as a dental assistant. In 1957, her marriage to Charles Seamens, a Naval Aviator, took her to many adventurous areas of the world where they began their family before returning to Greensburg in 1967. Dora was a loving, devoted mother and wife. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and a volunteer for Westmoreland Hospital Auxiliary. She and her husband, Chuck, loved to travel. Her most wonderful memories were of  trips to Morocco, Ireland, Paris, Hawaii, and Italy. Subsequently, in retirement,  they spent their time in both Sarasota, Florida and Greensburg, building wonderful memories  with their children and grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her brothers John, Alfred, and Richard and sisters Pauline, Nora, and Regina. 

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, as well as her brother, Tom (Joanne) Vallano and sister Rosemarie (Tom) Evans. 
She is also survived by her children, Chuck (Kelli) Seamens, Sueanne (Enzo) Zoratto, Marcia (Larry)Walsh, and Kristen (Geoff) Kurland, grandchildren, Patrick (Madison) Seamens, Alexandra (Gilberto) Navarro, Olivia Zoratto, Julia Zoratto, and Leigh (Mark) Miller. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Miller Seamens, and Audrey, Lance , and Kate as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
