Dora Jane Thomason Furr, age 56, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1957 in Ringgold, GA to the late Sarah and Monie Thomason Sr. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Thomason; sisters, Karen and Margie Thomason. Jane was a member of the Hurricane Church of God. She was involved in the Church of God Girls Club and was a JoyBelle Counselor for 9 years. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, George Anthony and Sonya Brewer of Rocky Face; son, James Allen Furr of Rocky Face; daughter and son in law, Renee and Timmy Mathis of Rocky Face; brothers and sisters in law, Jr and Vicky Thomason of Rocky Face, Jackie and Tammy Thomason of Chatsworth, Bobby and Debbie Thomason of Rocky Face, Danny and Kathy Thomason of Rocky Face; brother, Allen Thomason of Rocky Face; sisters and brothers in law, Emily and J.C. Brewer of Rocky Face, Faye and Kenneth McKeehan of Rocky Face; sister, Evelyn Shipman of Dalton; grandchildren, Debra Jane Nichols, Robert Lee Nichols, Jacob Lane Nichols, Taylor Nicole Nichols, Nathan Charles Brewer, Brittney Joyce Brewer and George Anthony Brewer Jr; great grandchildren, Zoey Leanette Barmore; the love of her life, James Furr; life long friend, Johnnie (Dingbat) Cannon.
