Dora I. Patrick, age 76, of Green Forest, AR went home to be with her Lord, Monday September 6, 2010. She was born March 13, 1934 in Tennessee, to the late David Mattox and Irene Walker Mattox. Dora worked at various jobs in her younger years. When her mother became ill in the 1980s she moved to Carroll County to take care of her. Doras whole life was about caring for others as a mother, wife, daughter or friend. She loved to laugh and always made the most out of every situation. She was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing and fishing. She is survived by her daughters; Peggy Quartemont and husband Joel, of Fairfield, CA, Carolyn Skinner, of Green Forest, Pam Ellis and husband Brian, of Green Forest, brothers; David Mattox and wife Virginia of Lumberton, TX, Franklin Mattox and wife Audrey, of Inverness, FL, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Patrick, one son Steve, brothers; Buddy, Dave, James,and Jay Mattox and one sister Ruth.
