Dora Ellen Garrett, age 87, of West Boyd Street, Grafton, passed away, Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Grafton City Hospital. She was born November 20, 1923, in Grafton, a daughter of the late Morris C. and Bessie Mildred (Lewis) Garrett. Miss Garrett was a member of the Warren United Methodist Church. She was retired having worked as a housekeeper. Surviving are: two sisters, Betty Phillips and Frances Jenkins, both of Bridgeport, WV; three brothers, Jerry J. Garrett and wife Phyllis, of Grafton, Ben C. Garrett and wife Fannie, of Fairmont, WV, and Robert U. Garrett and wife Nikki, of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Morris T. Garrett, John H. Garrett, and Fred W. Garrett.
