Donnie R. Webb, 65 of Fortville passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 at IU Saxony Hospital, Fishers. Donnie was born in Anderson on May 29, 1947 to the late Kenneth and Minnie Jane (Smithers) Webb. He was a United States Army veteran, having served in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. Donnie retired in 1999 from Delco-Remy after 35 years of service.
Donnie and his family were avid campers of the New Lisbon Family Campground for the past 16 years. He is survived by his wife Carol A. (Parrish) Webb, whom he married on March 23, 1969; daughters, Melissa (Steven) Ellis, Kelly J. Webb-Lacy, and Tonya R. Webb; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Wayne Webb.
