Donna J. Slate, 67, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday (May 28, 2015) at the Mansfield Center for Nursing & Rehab in Storrs.
Born Aug. 5, 1947 in Willimantic, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Dorothy (Hawes) Durand.
Donna married Jon Slate in January of 1992. She retired several years ago after having worked in a number of different places, including the Lebanon Senior Center, where she also enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to her husband of 23 years, she leaves four children, Jeffrey Guilbeault of Lebanon, Kenneth Guilbeault of Edgewater, FL, Marybeth Tevis of Randolph, VT and Renee Paquet of Arlington, VA; two stepchildren, Kimberly Abel of Lebanon and Jason Slate of Biglerville, PA; ten grandchildren; two siblings, Douglas Durand and Darlene Hall, both of Hampton; and numerous extended family members and friends.
