Donna Marie Fuqua
Donna Marie Fuqua, 84, a resident of Gooding, died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Luke’s in Twin Falls. She was a resident at Bridgeview the last four years but resided in Gooding for many years.
Donna was born on August 22, 1928 to Jasper and Manie Bean in Filer, Idaho, youngest of their nine children. She attended schools in Filer, West Point school and later graduated from Wendell High School in 1946.
On August 12, 1946 she married Tom Fuqua in Wendell, Idaho. Tom farmed most of his life and she loved the rural farm life. She worked at several part time positions but being a wife and Mom was her most important position in life.
She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Gooding.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Leonard) Bay, of Jerome, Id; Patti Hurd, of Jerome, Id; Tom (Jackie) Fuqua, of Sandpoint, Id; and Tina (Ed) Chojnacky, of Jerome. Id; Grandchildren, Josh Bay;, Aaron Bay; Zach Bay; Jeremy Hurd; Lindsay Gambrel; Hailey Fuqua; Stephanie Fuqua; Victoria Chojnacky; Nicole Chojnacky; and Mackenzie Chojnacky. She also had five Great Grandchildren, Dayton Bay; Carson Bay; Brooklyn Gambrel; Preslee Bay; Khloe Bay and one baby Gambrel on its way. She has one sister, Grace Madalena.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
She will be greatly missed but always in our hearts.
