 Donna Mae VanVleet, 90

Donna Mae VanVleet, 90, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away August 9, 2020 at the Mountain Valley of Cascade Nursing Home of Kellogg, Idaho.  She was born January 18, 1930 in Watertown, South Dakota; Donna was the daughter of Martin and Mabel Krull.

Donna moved to the Silver Valley at a young age with her family. She attended and graduated from the Kingston High School.

On December 26, 1953 Donna was united in marriage to Clyde “Bud” VanVleet. Together they raised five children. Bud passed away in 1990.

Donna loved cooking and worked as a cook for the Sunnyside School for many years. Later in life she cooked for Meals on Wheels. 

In her free time Donna enjoyed crocheting and embroidering. Donna also enjoyed being outside and huckleberry picking.

Donna is survived by her four children Delene (Jim) Miller, Brent VanVleet, Tona (Bill) Leetch and Brian VanVleet; six grandchildren Dawn, Danee, Simon, Paul, Sarah and Brian Jr.; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marion McGillivary and several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Rodney and sister Wealthea Groth
