Donna L. Spiegel, 73, of Loyalsock Township, died Monday, November 15, 2010 with her family by her side.
Donna was a loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. All who met her will never forget her kindness and love of the Lord, her family and her friends.
Donna graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1955 and attended Lycoming College, where she played in the college band, sang with the choir, and was a member of Tau Beta Sigma Sorority. She was formerly employed by Grit Publishing Company, Reed Hann Litho and retired from Cornerstone Family Health.
Donna served the Lord in many ways including as organist at Mill Creek United Methodist Church, Northway Presbyterian Church and Wesley United Methodist Church.
Donna’s love of music began as a member of the Williamsport Area High School and Lycoming College Bands. She was an active member and percussionist of the Repasz Band for over 20 years, as well as the Williamsport Imperial Teteque and Jersey Shore Town Bands. She also taught private music lessons.
Donna was a member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church, the Dorothy Long Sunday School Class and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Born September 25, 1937, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Helen J. Bower Stebner.
Donna’s legacy will forever be remembered by the joys of her life, her son, Marc G. (Tracy) Spiegel and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Jacob Spiegel all of Pittsburgh; her brother, Dale B. (Grace) Stebner of Williamsport; her sister, Sandra D. McGinnis of Montoursville; a nephew, David B. (Michelle) Stebner, two great nieces, Hannah and Natalie Stebner and a great nephew, Joshua Stebner, all of Wyoming, RI.
