Donna Jean Benedick, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on February 20th, 2022, a week before her 74th birthday.
She was born February 27th, 1948 to Donald and Jean Leveque in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating Arsenal Tech in 1966, she married John R. Benedick on October 14th 1967. They were married 54 years until her passing. Together they had 8 children.
Donna had a love of life and people. Everyone who knew her, loved her and called her Mom. This was easily seen by the number of friends who came up to talk with her everywhere she went.
Donna loved playing card games, bingo, bowling, and crafts among her hobbies. But mostly she loved being with family.
Survivors include her husband, John Benedick, Sr.; children, Gloria Mills (Mike), Tammy Donovan (Jim), John Benedick, Jr. (Shelly), Linda Ellis (Joe), Kim Brydges, Bruce Benedick (Amy), Cathy Smith (Jeff), Shannon Thinnes (Jeff) and her bonus son, Brian Hyde (Krystal); sisters, Diana Cox (Leroy), Judy Pfaffenberger (Chuck) and Sue Caldwell; 19 grandchildren, John, Daniel, Brandon, Kelli, Donovan, Nicholas, Kendyll, Shelby, Ashley, Tyler, Kallie, Montgomerie, Brayden, Abby, Brooklyn, Alexis, Andrew, Kenzey and Logan; six great-grandchildren, Tristan, Jordan, Ryland, Addison, Keilyn and Nila. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Beverly Brand and Sandy Hyde.
