Donna “Danusha” H. (Hafele) Chockley, 79, of Bethlehem passed away on Saturday May 2, 2020 while in the care of Manor Care Health Services, Bethlehem due to complications of COVID-19. She was the loving wife of Raymond Orth with whom she spent over 13 years of loving marriage. Born in Bloomington, IL, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gerladine Hafele. Donna was a graduate of Knox College. She worked as an Interior Designer for most of her life. Donna was a member of Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. She loved a good joke and was a devoted fan of April Fool’s Day.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ray of Bethlehem, children Heather C. (Chockley) Steinmeyer (Randall) of Chicago, IL, and Todd E. Chockley (Christa) of Hanover Park, IL from her first marriage to Thomas H. Chockley, Jennifer (Orth) Riedy (Chris) and David Orth (Rebecca), both of Bethlehem, brothers Lane Hafele (Sandra) of Groveland, IL and Richard Hafele (Carol) of Wilsonville, OR, as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother Larry Hafele.
