Donna M. Armstrong, age 76, of Spirit Lake, passed away Friday, February 13, 2009, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was born on November 12, 1932, in Spencer, Iowa, to Earl and Norma (Newby) Kraft. Donna graduated from Rossie High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to John W. Armstrong on June 21, 1950, in Clay County. John passed away on July 28, 2002. Donna worked several occupations including, a nurses aid at the Spencer Hospital, a clerk at White Drug in Spencer, the Senior Center in Spirit Lake and babysitting.
The occupation she enjoyed the most and was best at was raising her seven children. Donna enjoyed spending her spare time crocheting and enjoying her children and grandchildren. She truly loved her family. Donna is survived by her four daughters, Mina Armstrong Wieneke, and her husband, Dean, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, LuAnn Broadie, and her husband, Joe, of Ruthven, Kerrie Baish, and her husband, Rick, of Milford, and Stacie Werner, and her husband, Mike, of Milford
