Donald Wayne Harvey, 81, of Anderson, passed away on September 3, 2012 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
He was born on December 7, 1930 in Sheridan, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. Donald graduated from Sheridan High School. He was a retired utility man for Delco-Remy Division of General Motors for over 43 years. He was a member of UAW 662. He enjoyed woodworking and word searches, and served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Donald is survived by his loving spouse whom he married in 1952; Betty A. Montgomery Harvey, children; Debbie S. Jim Wade of Anderson & Bill E. Ronda Harvey of Summitville, sister; Mary Lou Harvey of Franklin, brother; James Harvey of Louisiana, grandchildren; Michael J. Wade Anderson, Adam C. Wade Anderson, David E. Stephanie Cunningham Muncie, Derrick A. Ariel Cunningham Alexandria, Matthew G. Kristyn Cunningham Summitville, Tina D. Harvey Indianapolis and Kathryn J. Harvey fiance Mark Frankfort. Four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special companion “Tucker” also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father; Claude E. Harvey, mother; Marie Harvey, daughter; Susan D. Harvey and son, Michael R. Harvey.
