Donald Trumbo, 69, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Heritage Woods in Centralia. He was born December 1, 1949, in Centralia, the son of Oscar “O.C.” Trumbo and Effie (Rethard) Trumbo Karras.

Donald married Claudetta Owens on February 18, 1977, and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, Claudetta Trumbo of Centralia, he is also survived by nine children: Donald “Donny” Trumbo and wife Jenalee of Centralia, Robin Heck of Nashville, Jimmy Trumbo and wife Ginger of Nashville, Tennessee, Misti Donahoo of Hoyleton, Scott Rollinson and wife Erin of Rockton, Tammy Nowakaowski and husband Ron of Tamaroa, Jason Trumbo and wife Tara of Ankeny, Iowa, Julie Trumbo of Centralia and Kiara Trumbo of Centralia; 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar “O.C.” Trumbo and Effie (Rethard) Trumbo Karras, son-in-law: Dan Heck, a great-grandson: Kale Hull, 4 brothers, a sister, and father and mother-in-law: Claude and Nora Owens. Donald worked as a Truck Driver all of his life and he drove for Trumbo Trucking. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and going to Flea Markets to collect antiques. Donald was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
