Donald M. Sorensen, age 77, a resident of Boerne since 1993, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008. Born in Cathlamet, Washington on October 19, 1930, he was the son of Wallace and Fern Sorensen. He served as an Electronics Technician in the U. S. Navy. As Superintendent of Communications Eastern Lines, Don retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after more than 30 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Leah, Mr. Sorensen is survived by Sons, David, Stephen, and Larry Sorensen; Step Daughter, Jolene Cook and her husband, Walter; Many family and friends.
