Donald S. Hamon, 86, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at Messiah Lifeways at Messiah Village Mechanicsburg. He was the husband of the late Donna Jean (Conway) Hamon, his wife of 63 years, who died February 23, 2021.
Donald was born January 22, 1935, in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late Leroy and Mary (Nycz) Hamon.
Donald was a longtime member and elder at Stow Alliance Fellowship, in Stow, OH, and was employed with the Chrysler automobile Mfg. Co. for 37 years as a tool and die and pattern maker. Donald and his wife relocated to the East Berlin boro area in 2012 to be near their children. Donald was a member at Zwingli U.C.C., East Berlin since 2012. He was a devoted, loving father and husband. Donald was very committed to being a follower of Christ.
Donald is survived by two sons, Scott B. Hamon and Jeff R. Hamon and his wife Raeann, all of East Berlin, and two grandchildren, Michael B. Hamon of Kirkland, WA and Eliana M. Hamon of East Berlin. He was predeceased by a stepfather, Leroy Hamon, and a sister, Dolores Geriak.
