Donald “Ducky” Bauder, 79, resident of Old Orchard, formerly of S. Bethlehem passed away on Wed., June 19, 2013 at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus.
Born on May 25, 1934 in Coopersburg, PA he was the son of the late Robert and Esther (Miller) Bauder. He shared 40 years of marriage with his late beloved wife Lois (Frey) who died in 1994.
He was an electrical crane repairman at Bethlehem Steel for 40 years before retiring.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing darts. Ducky was an avid fan of pro wrestling, the Phillies, Eagles, local and Nascar racing. He was a life member of the Raccoon Club and various other clubs.
Our dad was an awesome dad who truly will be missed by many. RIP Pop. A big thanks to the staff at Old Orchard for his care.
Surviving: He is survived by his son, Don “Chowder” of Coopersburg; daughters, Linda Harris and her husband Tom of Fountain Hill and Jennie of Bethlehem Township; grandson, Jeffery and his wife Annie of Northampton;
great-grandson, Mason. He was predeceased by daughter, Cindy and grandson, Tommy.
