He was married for 37 years to Gloria Berry (Clark) and he was blessed with three children.He attended Louisiana State University in 1971. Donald was employed by Mosher Steel for over 25 plus years and he worked at Trinity Industries for over 10 years.Donald was a hard working family man first and foremost. Always making sure his family was taken care immediate family and adopted family. Every day for years he always made sure to make a daily or weekly call to his brothers and sisters to make sure they were doing alright or just to gossip. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it or put a little money in your pocket. He was known to his grandchildren affectionately as “Duh”.Donald Ray Berry was preceded in death by his parents: Thad Sr. and Bertha Berry (Moreau); son: Micheal Demond Berry sisters: Cora Mae Williams, Lula Mae Young, Barbara Jenkins; brothers: Thad Berry Jr, Mack Arthur Berry and Jimmy Jones.He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Gloria Berry; children: Demisha Manning (Daryl), Detrick Berry; one sister: Mary Appiah ; grandchildren: Davion, Tia, Raymond, and Viviene. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
