Passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015, at age 96. He was born on August 6, 1919 on the family farm in Waltham, MN and attended Upper Iowa University. On October 26, 1941, Don married Alice M. Stover. He was employed by Burroughs Corp. (Unysis) for over 35 years. He spent the last 20 years working with his son, Jim, at Beneke Corporation in Plainwell, MI. He is survived by his children: Jane Zuidema (Malcolm), Ann Dieleman (Peter), and Jim Beneke (Kathy); grandchildren: Leslie Winesett (Andy), Kristen Zuidema (Matt), Paul Dieleman (Lucyna), Sarah Perry (Bryan), Beth Dykstra (Matt), Joanne Stevens (Stan), Jennifer Yoder, Jill Weber (Alex), and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his wife of 57 years, Alice Beneke; parents, George and Marie (Wollenburg) Beneke; and brother, James R. Beneke.
