Hagerstown, MD – Donald Luther Hershberger, Sr., 84, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on December 5, 2022, at his home.
He was born on October 12, 1938, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Donald Kenneth and Madeline Francis (Ashby) Hershberger.
Donald was in the first graduating class of South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD in 1957.
He was employed by AAMCO in Hagerstown, MD as an automobile mechanic until his retirement in 2000
Donald enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events as well as antique cars and trains.
He is survived by a son Donald L. Hershberger, Jr. And his wife Tina of Williamsport, MD; grandson Aaron C. Hershberger and his wife Sarah of Falling Waters, WV; granddaughter Lacee V. Vadset and her husband Frank of Falling Waters, WV; grandson Logan M. Hershberger and his wife Jessica of Waynesboro, PA; great grandchildren Charlotte R. Leggett, Everly R. Hershberger, and Amelia R. Hershberger; niece Michelle M. Dutrow, her husband Gary, and family of Hagerstown, MD.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Sandra Jean Shives and a great grandson Jeremiah J. Leggett.
