Donald L. Doty, 83, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, at his home in Prattsburgh, NY. Donald was born the son of the late John S. and Alice H. (Thebeault) Doty on Thursday, October 15, 1936, in Groton, CT. He retired from Xerox Corporation after 30 years. Donald enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and maintaining his yard. Donald loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was always willing to offer a helping hand.
Donald will be remembered by his daughter, Donna (Brian) Deery; grandchildren Scott Doty, Brandy Doty, Elizabeth Deery and John (Melissa) Doty; great-grandchildren Weston and Aaliyah Doty, Kal and Camden Watson; sister, Anita Harrelle; and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; sons Daniel and Dale Doty; sister, Helen Rice; and brother, John Doty.
