Donald Louis Nadzieja, age 76 of Schererville went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2014.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jeanne; children Donald (Mary) Nadzieja, Pam (Paul) Krueger and Tracy (Richard) Corrao; precious grandchildren Donald Nadzieja Jr., Sara Nadzieja, Patrick Jones, Keaton Krueger, Jocelyn and Leah Corrao; most precious great grandson, Logan Jones; brother John (Joan) Hope, sisters in law Sandra (Dale) Carlson and Julie (late Jim) Knesek; dearest nieces and nephews, especially Michael (Gail) Hunter and his “adopted” daughters Karen (Mike) Burvan, Ryan and Emily, Jennifer (Dr. Rick) Johns, Hailey and Genevieve.
Don would also not want to forget his dear friend Ronald Witczak. Preceded in death by his daughter Barbara, parents John and Mary (Przybysz) Nadzieja and sister Rosemary (late Don) Hunter.
Don was an avid fisherman and camper. He was retired from the Chicago Hilton and Towers where he worked as a carpenter and later as a Carpenter Foreman. He was a proud member of the Chicago District Council of Carpenter’s Local #1.
