Died Monday afternoon June 18, 2018. Donald was born September 5, 1932 in Grand Rapids, Michigan a son of Liborio and Virginia (Mattone) Guastella. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army.
He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the Borroughs Corporation for over 30 years before retiring. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Ann Guastella on September 11, 1997; 4 brothers; and a sister. He is survived by a sister, Carmella (Kenneth) Martin of Grand Rapids; 3 brothers-in-law, David L. Martin of Grand Rapids; Paul (Mary) Dozeman of Kalamazoo, and Gary Dozeman (Debbie) of Georgia; 5 sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Guastella of Grand Rapids, Iris Brocato of Florida, Teresa (David) Moore of Comstock, Sue (Todd) Meyers of Mattawan, and Betty (Karl) Williams of California; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
