Donald Joe Witcher Sr., 77, of Poland Indiana, passed away on April 30, 2020 in Indianapolis. He was born on February 18, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Charles and Delmon F. (Wilson) Witcher. He was married to Diane Verdin Witcher, she preceded him in death.
Don was employed with the Chrysler Corporation for 38 years working in Huntsville, Alabama and most of his years in the Indianapolis location.
Don enjoyed fishing and collecting pocket knives. He also liked spending time in nature where he took pictures of landscape scenes and animals.
He is survived by his three sons, Donald Witcher Jr. of Poland, Indiana, Daniel (Tara) Witcher of Acton, Indiana, and David (Bill ) Witcher of South Carolina, four sisters, Joyce (Dayle) Stevens of Florida, Jennette (Steve) Hagen of Nevada, Ellen McLain of Indianapolis and Tammy (Larry) Williams of Mooresville, a brother, Ronald (Betty) Witcher of Greenwood, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Witcher, a sister, Wanda Major and a granddaughter, Kayla Witcher.
