Donald Jennings passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2014 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence with his family by his side. His hope was in the life, death and resurrection of his personal savior, The Lord Jesus Christ. Most important to Don were faith, family, friends and his God given talents to serve others. Don was born on June 22, 1933 in Monroe, MI, the son of Tuble and Gretchen Jackson Jennings.

He was a graduate of Monroe High School. Don was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War where he earned the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged in 1954. On February 5, 1955, he married the former Dolores Lillevig. Don was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #357 for 55 years and was employed by R.W. LaPine until his retirement in 1995. Don found pride in his work and providing for his family. During retirement, he enjoyed sports, camping, traveling, mission trips and home building. He also worked for a few years as custodian for Haven Church.

His priorities were to attend activities of his beloved grandchildren, church services and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Dolores Jennings; their three children, Vicki Jaeger of Valparaiso, IN, Bruce Jennings of Richland and Paul Shelley Jennings of Richland; nine grandchildren, Molly Adam Kingery, Samuel Jaeger and Matthew, Tyler Amber, Kyle, Stuart, Brian, Paige and Rachel Jennings; two sisters, Joyce Doug Cassada of Ottawa Lake, June Turner of Petersburg; two brothers, Jerry Josie Jennings of Ocala, FL and Roger Darlene Jennings of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Norman Jennings.
