Donald Joe Tinker, 72, of Shalimar, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013at his home in Shalimar, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Don was born July 2, 1940 in Blytheville, AR to Lela and Homer Tinker.
Don joined the United States Air Force in 1959 and served for 30 years, he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1989. Don loved the Air Force; he served honorably and was very proud of his military career.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lela Tinker; brother, Herman Tinker; sisters, Jackie and Betty Tinker and Irene Hardin; great granddaughter, Breanna Cooper.
Survived by his loving wife, Luisa of 51 years; children, Javi, Maggie and Tina; son-in law’s, Pat and Paul; daughter-in-law, Theresa; grandchildren, Heather, Holley, Nick, Alexis, Stephanie, Patrick, Rachel, Brett, Lindly, Blake and Joel, 8 great grandchildren, brothers, Thurman and Tommy Tinker and many loving nieces and nephews.
