Donald J. Pittman, 80 of LaSalle died peacefully at 2:54 PM on December 25, 2015 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital.
Don was born in LaSalle on March 16, 1935 to Robert and Martha (Fidler) Pittman. He served in the US Army from 1958 until 1960. Don married Diane Windels in April of 1965. She passed away December 21, 1992. He then married Betty Thompson on October 11, 1994. He worked for the City of LaSalle as a full time firefighter for 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Diane “Pat” Pittman, one grandson, Joseph Krebsbach, four sisters, and three brothers.
