Donald H. “Stubby” Stubbins Donald passed away on June 13, 2012 at the Canterbury Villa of Alliance. He was born on May 31, 1926 in Canton, Ohio to Cora (Straub) Stubbins and Ancel Stubbins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bettey (Jefferys) Stubbins, whom he married on March 10, 1951 and passed away September 13, 2007; his son, Thomas Stubbins, who passed away on May 17, 2012; and his aunts, Mary Alexander and Grace Livingston. Donald is survived by his daughter, Peggy Molnar, son-in-law, Craig Molnar and grandson, Tony Molnar of Alliance; his daughter-in-law, Sandra Stubbins and grandchildren, Tommy Jr. and Cora Stubbins of North Carolina. Donald used to love to fish and hunt in his spare time and he was an avid bowler at Parkway Lanes for many years. He was formerly employed at the Fairmont Provision, Supreme Provision and J&L Steel in Louisville. Everyone knew him as “Stubby” and he had many friends everywhere.
