Mr. Donald George Thompson, Sr., age 77, of West Haven, beloved husband of Rita Zdanuk Thompson, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2006 in Milford Hospital. Son of the late Wallace and Bertha Sanwald Thompson, he was born on April 19, 1929 in Bridgeport. He was a sheet metal worker for Local #39, life member of the East End Yacht Club, and the Local #39 Sheet Metal Workers Association. In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Donald G. Thompson, Jr. and his wife Sally of Pahrump, NV, Bruce E. Thompson and his wife Diane of Milford, a daughter, Pamela Delbene and her husband Anthony of Stratford, three grandchildren, Matthew, Joey, and Tony Delbene, a brother, John “Jack” Thompson of Virginia, and a sister, Arlene Licinsky of Stratford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
