Donald G. Heuring, 85, of Bellevue, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Stein Hospice Inpatient Unit in Sandusky.
He was born July 21, 1929 in Bellevue to the late Guerdon Lawrence and Edna Elizabeth (Haas) Heuring.
On October 16, 1950 he married Evelyn M. Heckman. She preceded him in death on December 27, 2010.
Survivors include their children: Patricia A. Zerman of Bellevue and Roger A. Heuring of Basking Ridge, New Jersey; daughter-in-law, Marsha Heuring of Wakeman; grandchildren: Lisa M. Heuring; Jeffrey C. (Tracie) Heuring; Rhonda L. Zerman (Jeff Gates); Jaclyn P. Heuring; and Lauren N. Heuring; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Amelia, Anderson, Hayden, and Ethan; and his brother, Charles W. (Joyce) Heuring of Bellevue.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Don was preceded in death by his son, Donald G. Heuring II on January 21, 2012.
