Donald Flynn, 83, of Anderson, passed away on June 15, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 9, 1930, in Elwood, and resided in Anderson for 35 years.
Don served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring after 21 years of service having served two tours of duty in Viet Nam and later retiring from the Teamster’s Union in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his loving spouse whom he married in 1959 in Germany, Waltraud Hartung Flynn of Anderson; children, Don Flynn of Middletown, Robert Maribeth Flynn of Anderson, Tammy Russell of Anaheim, California, Patricia Kyle of Carmel, Sabrina Brad Sollberger of Land of Lakes, Florida, Nicole Flynn of Pendleton, Christopher Flynn of Chesterfield, Joshua Flynn of Anderson, and Alexis Flynn of Anderson. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Gladys Flynn and his brothers and sisters.
