Donald Earl Moore, 81, of Markleville, passed away on November 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on September 18, 1931 in Kentucky and resided most of his life in Madison County. He served his country in the Marines during the Korean War. Donald retired from General Motors in 1987 after 31 1/2 years of service. He also worked in excavating. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Donald is survived by his loving spouse of 61 years, Ruth Littell Moore: daughters, Belinda Gary Gillespie of Markleville, Debbie Mike Walker of Markleville, Donna companion, Archie Semler of Greenfield, Sandy Steve Coffman of Chesterfield, Sheila Brown of Markleville, Regina Larry Funkhouser of Mechanicsburg; sister, Phyllis Rash, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Earl Moore, mother, Betty Catron Moore, son, David E. Moore, granddaughter, Ashley Abrams, granddaughter, Lindsey Abrams, three sisters, and two brothers.
