DURHAM Mr. Donald Earl Lassiter, 75, a former resident of Durham, died on Friday, March 29, . Lassiter was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late William P. Lassiter and Flozy Tilley Lassiter. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked for Durham Hosiery and retired from Wright’s Machinery. He was an avid Carolina is survived by his three sons, Wayne Lassiter and wife, Melissa, David Lassiter and wife, Kim, Mark Lassiter; daughter, Mary Ann Lassiter Blackburn; eight grandchildren, Bradley Wayne Lassiter, Bryan Allan Lassiter, Christopher Stephen Lassiter, Catherine Lassiter Penczak, Jeremy Donald Sutton and Chelsea Danielle Corbett, Samantha Lassiter Bowen, Joshua David Lassiter and six great-grandchildren.
