Donald Edward Sanders, 69, of Thornton, passed away November 10, 2012 from complications of diabetes. He was born May 6, 1943 in Casper, Wyoming to Ivan M. and Letha (Morris) Sanders. He married Sandra J. Buskirk on April 16, 1965.
Donald attended Alliance, Nebraska public schools and graduated in 1961. He continued his education at Nebraska Western College and the University of Denver, graduating in 1969 with B.S. in Philosophy. He later graduated in 1971 from University of Denver Law School with Ll.D. and practiced law in Colorado and Nebraska.
He later attended Iliff School of Theology and graduated with a M.Div.
