Obituary of Donald E. Friedlander, Sr.

On July 31, 2016 and surrounded by his family, Don lost his long fight with cancer and died peacefully. Donald (Don) Friedlander, Sr. was born in Minneapolis on March 16th 1928. After meeting Mary while both were working at the Grandview Theater in Saint Paul, they married in 1948. Over the years Don worked in many capacities, primarily in financials and auditing. He retired in 1992 from Honeywell’s internal audit division. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Don (Pam), Steve (Marie); daughters, Judy (Tom) Giel, Susan (Joe) Byers; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and relatives. He will be sorely missed.
