Born in Mecklenburg County on July 7, 1935 to the late Lee Austin Drake and the late Beulah Mae (Graham) Drake. He was also preceded in death by three sons, Stonie Criswell, Bobby Drake, and Dan Drake. Mr. Drake was owner & operator of Drake Plumbing, and was a veteran of the US Army.
