Muncie-Donald C. Craig, 82, left this world in joyful anticipation of meeting his Saviour Jesus Christ, and being reunited with his parents, brother Bill and his wife’s parents on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at his residence while clearing snow. He was born on October 2, 1931, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Bonnie and Myrtle (Wolfe) Craig.
Donald married the love of his life, Bethel (Burgess) Craig on April 29, 1949 in Muncie and she survives. Mr. Craig had worked as an inspector in the Quality Control Department for 32years retiring in 1982 from Warner Gear. He attended the Christian Chapel. Donald was a member of the Carpenters Union and Local 287 of the United Auto Workers union. Mr. Craig enjoyed flee markets, collecting guns, coins, restoring antique cars and antiques.
Besides his wife of 65 years, Bethel, he is survived by two sons, John A. Craig (wife-Betty) and Mark W. Craig (wife-Connie), both of Muncie; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Craig in 2000.
